It's Election Time Again. Cudahy will, for the second time in 10 years, hold elections in 2009.

Vote 4 COTA and GARCIA 2009 !
(exact date to be announced)
My name is Daniel Cota and I am working toward becoming a Cudahy City Council Member. I am a Special Education Teacher in Huntington Park. I love serving the youth and hard working families who are trying to build a better life in America. I am a responsible and dedicated teacher and I take pride in my craft to ensure the best, most effective education for my students. This attitude and committment will continue as a Council Member for Cudahy.
The last election was a true and wonderful learning experience . I was able to meet hundreds of Cudahy citizens who were honest and sincere, wanting the best for their community. I want to say thank you for all those who voted for me and to say that I will work arduously to bring a better community. I will work hard for every citizen with responsibility, integrity, honesty, and fairness to all.
I'm running for City Council to provide a clean and safe City for all residents. I understand all the challenges our residents face on a daily basis. I have been involved in Cudahy since the 1970's. I am currently working for the City of Long Beach involved and making improvements citywide as part of a large public works improvement project worth millions of dollars. I feel that all the residents of Cudahy deserve a better quality of life. This can be done through improvements to our community programs and public services. I want to lead and help the residents understand functions and responsibilities of elected officials. We can accomplish this together by supporting fresh new leadership that will have the interest of the community first. Last election was very close,  decided by minimal votes. I want to thank those of you who voted for me and remember a vote for me is a vote for fresh new leadership and a better future for our community.
